my venture into the doctrine of Holy Spirit

Firstly, just to tell you that this post is super short and contains not much details and stuff:) But its just something really interesting that springs out from my heart. Lately, I've been listening to Paige Peterson's messages on the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. I suggest everyone who reads this post here to venture into it carefully and truthfully. It is one of the most wonderful things one can seek but also one of the most dangerous thing if it is misled. But it has been great. it is like knowing the One that is with you all these while even more. My suggestion is that you would find and seek it out too:) That's all!

Hold on even when it's tough!

Issac was the son of Abraham and God promised Issac just as He promised Abraham his descendants will be as numerous as the stars in the sky and all the nations will be blessed through him. And God's promise was fulfilled when Jesus came down and died for our sins. Since Issac and Abraham was the ancestor of Jesus, so their descedants include all those who would trust in Jesus. It was a wonderful blessing that God gave to them!

Abraham had the promise of God and Issac inherited the promise because he was the son of Abraham and Sarah and he had his birthright.
Just like this:
Abraham=>Issac

After Abraham died, Issac was married to Rebekah, and they had two sons, the elder one called Esau and the younger one called Jacob. According to the customs and traditions(not from the mouth of God), Esau being the eldest has the birthright, and he is suppose to "inherit" the promise of God when Issac dies. So the chart will be like this:

Abraham=>Issac=>Esau

However, Esay did not inherit the promise. Why? Lets focus on Esau and Jacob's life from here on..

Esau was the eldest son of Issac, He is a cunning hunter and a man of the field. In the original Hebrew text, Esau is known as a wild and undisciplined man,and Jacob is a plain man who dwells in tents, known as a quiet and mature individual who is sensible, diligent, dutiful and peaceful. But Issac favored Esau.

So one day, when Jacob cooked some stew, Esau came back from the field and he was starving and faint. So Esau asked Jacob to feed him. And Jacob asked Esau to sell him his birthright if he wants food. Because of that, Esau sold his birthright to Jacob and he later on became the one who rightfully inherited that wonderful promise, thus changing the arrow chart like this:

Abraham=>Issac=>Jacob

Esau forsaken that wonderful promise because of FOOD! Esau gave up his birthright! And later on he'll be the father of the Edomites instead of the Israelites(the people of God). How sad is that?!

That's history but it still is the same. The natural heart who doesn't have God, like Esau, couldn't not see the value on the things of God, the promises and things of God are vague, powerless, valueless. But the heart that longs for God, like Issac, will be able to see the valueble worth of following God and cherishing His things and will fight for it.
Therefore, hold on to God even when it is tough! Don't be like Esau who has forsaken that wonderful promise because of his immediate "needs". But rather look towards God and depend and trust and hold on to His promises, just like Issac.
HOLD ON EVEN WHEN IT IS TOUGH!

The Value of the World.

Today I'm going to introduce you to my very very good friend and brother in Christ. meet ROBERT:

Just look at his smile you know he's one funny and nice guy. hahaha

However, we won't be focusing on Robert this time, but rather on what he told me.

While we were talking, he told me that he was very nervous about the training that he is going to have on Friday because he needs to explain to 10 people about the programs and stuff, and he is scared because he knows that these people will ask a lot of questions. So I joke with him saying won't Pastor Kenneth be more nervous since he has 10x more people to talk to than him. When Robert replied, it really touched my heart and make me realize the a truth the World is having. He said:
in church no one asked so many questions when the Pastor preaches, but in the office, everybody is concern about their money so they asked a lot.
People get really concerned when it comes to things that are dear to them. The statement above shows people that are really concern about money. When people are concerned about their studies, they read and read and ask and ask alot alot of questions, they work hard to get good results. When people are really concern about their children they want them to report to them what happened and what they did. When people are concerned about somethings, they just can't help themselves but to care for it much more.

and the problem starts here..

How bout our church? Do you see many people discussing about the sermon and ask questions? Do you see them as concern about it? Do you see them as fire up as they would if it is about their money, children and so on?

Many people in the world value materialistic things in the world more than God. They treat as if money, friendship, pleasures are more important than God. Maybe sometimes it is just we don't realize about it.

But I believe it is time to do something about it.

Let our actions show our passions.

Bids me come and die, and find that I May Truly Live.

O the wonderful Cross, Oh the wonderful Cross,

Bids me come and die, And find that I may truly live.

The line above is taken from the chorus of the song "O The Wonderful Cross". I've known and sang this song for quite some time, ever since I come to church, but I've never really understand it until these recent few months.

A couple of months back, God allowed something that I don't wish it to happen, happened to me.  During that moment of time, my heart was really really torn down and tears flow like streams of river down my cheek. However looking back from now, I'm glad it happened.

When I was heartbroken, and knowing that there's nothing I can do, I loosen up my grip on everything in life and gave God total authority in my life, knowing that God is sovereign, and believing in His promises and love. There's this joy in my heart.

so, what about it?

When it was few months back, I find myself helpless and I just had enough of it that it's breaking me in two, it's then that I really really gave my broken heart to Jesus, truly let go of everything, even my life, to Jesus, it's then that I find the meaning to life, joy and peace in my heart, I find life, life that flows from God.

Phillipians 1:21, Paul says that "for me, to live is Christ, to die is gain." When living becomes a life that is lived for Christ, and when you value Christ more than everything including your own life, that you're willing to sacrifice even your own life for Him, It's then you find that you may truly live.

It may sound strange, but note that it's true. A mystery.

Knowing that Jesus had compassion on me, gave me grace and mercy, died the cruel death that I should had on the cross for me, loving me and wants me to see His glory and delight in Him and me knowing that I'm a wretch that don't deserve these at all, makes my heart so thankful of that and I just want to love God fully and give Him everything that I can, acknowledging that He's my God, King and Lord, Savior and Redeemer, The Treasure of my life.

As I told you before in the previous post, The World is like the broken cistern, and God is the Fount of Living Water, It's when you turn to Him that you may find your thirst quenched. The World is dead, and life flows from God,

It's when you are so captured by the Cross and you truly gave everything to God that you may find that you may truly live.

Broken Cisterns That Can Hold No Water

Many people thinks that the way to be happy and satisfied in life is to posses a certain amount of something that they want and long for. Possessing things that they think it can satisfy them the most. For some it's money, for some is sexual pleasure, for some is positions, recognition, popularity, family, and so on. But do they really satisfy us?

  • Wealth

look at what King David says about wealth,

Eccl 5:10 Whoever loves money never has money enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income.
       This too is meaningless.

Many people thought that if they have all the riches they want they can be happy. However, many claimed that they aren't really happy when they got all the money they wanted. Besides that, your possession here on earth will not follow you when you die. So is wealth the key to one's satisfaction?

  • Sexual Pleasures

The following statements is shared by one Uni student on one of J.D. Greear's sermon saying:

As I enter the university life, I found myself indulging in sex more and more but enjoying it less and less.

Indulging in Pornography, Masturbation, Sexual engagement does not result in a satisfaction that last for long. People are trapped here because they are addicted yet they find themselves enjoying less and less. Is this the key to life's happiness?

  • Positions, Recognition, Authority

How long can a person stay in charge or have authority over something? Don't a person worry? Don't enemies emerge? Don't the worries of losing a position freak someone out? You get recognize for a moment but soon be forgotten. Does all these satisfy you?

There are many more, but somehow, there's just always an emptiness that is in us when we run after this things. Even King David, one of the greatest King of Israel, who possessed everything we wanted, wealth, women, authority and so much more said that everything is meaningless. look,

Eccl 12:7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

Eccl 12:8 "Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. [a]
       "Everything is meaningless!"

So why is there this emptiness in us? I believe it's telling us that we don't really belong to all these. Besides that, look at what God said,

13 "My people have committed two sins:

  They have

forsaken me,

the spring of living water

,
       and

have dug their own cisterns,

broken cisterns that cannot

hold water.

Whenever we search for pleasures that doesn't come from God, we are like digging up our own broken cisterns that can hold no water, and

we are trying to quench our thirst in this broken cisterns by licking on it and getting our tongue cut, bruised and bleed.

Besides that,

when we ignore God, we're ignoring the Spring of Living Water that can quench our thirst.

So how do you expect us to be satisfied if we keep on seeking and digging our own broken cisterns and not turn to God?

It's a choice for you:

  1. BROKEN CISTERNS
  2. SPRING OF LIVING WATER

WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Joel Lee Weng Yew said...

The meaning behind the 'therefore' is actually more significant.
To understand it, we have to go to Romans, where Paul says Jesus died for our sins and was raised for our justification (Romans 4:25).
Crossing over to Philippians, Paul says that as a result of Jesus' perfect obedience, He was considered righteous and therefore God exalted Him to the highest place. It is this righteousness that is imputed to us - thus Jesus was raised for our justification.
This exalting is essentially referring to the reality that Jesus had all authority in heaven and on earth, as we can also see at the end of Ephesians 1.

Summing up the argument, the basis for commissioning the apostles to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything Jesus had commanded them was that all authority in heaven and on earth belonged to Jesus. Jesus was essentially describing His Father's act of exaltation. And we know the foundation of that exaltation was the perfect obedience, and thus righteousness, of Jesus. And it is this righteousness that is imputed to us for our justification. Therefore the basis of our evangelism and discipleship is that Jesus had indeed completed His mission to secure our justification and reconcile us back to God.

Comfort in the Great Commission

"19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

The sentence above is a verse taken from Matthew 28:19-20. It is also well known as the great commission.

Jesus told his disciples this when the disciples met Him after He was resurrected. This two verses had spurred many hearts of the people to take up the call to reach out to the people and preach the gospel. Without Jesus commissioning them to make disciples, I personally think many of us would not had even heard of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

At the same time, I'm sure many of us had also take up this call and tried to preach the gospel to our friends, relatives and family members and so on too. And I know there are times where we get discouraged when our friend just seem so uninterested and not convicted by the Holy Spirit. I know it because it's a feeling that I feel it too sometimes.

But you know what? The very God who commissioned us, Jesus Himself has promised to be with us always to the end of age too. Indeed that is a comfort and encouragement that God is always there with us even during that period of time.

However, we always miss out something really important here. if you read carefully in this two verses, the first word of verse 19 is "therefore".

SO, I think this verse should be read together with the verse before it if we want to get a clearer perspective of the verse. Verse 18 states that "18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."

If you read both together, it will sound something like Jesus saying because He(Jesus) now has complete authority on both heaven and earth, so go and make disciples and......

We are to make disciple of all the earth because we have to tell them the good news that Jesus is the one and only God and the King that is sovereign over all, and THE KING died for us. Besides that, because He has all authority, it makes things hopeful even when our friends are not convicted by our message because we know that God has complete authority over all and He has his own plans.

In short, find your comfort and encouragement in this two promises:

1. God is always with you till the end. (verse 20)

2. God has all authority even when you reach out, and even over the lives of your friend and the conviction of the Holy Spirit in the heart of your friend. (verse 19)

Fight the good fight and run the good race, persevere! God Bless!

The Place called "Alone"

This post will most probably sound a bit like "Do You Really Believe What You Believe?".. But it is still something in my heart today.

All of us have a place called alone.

dark(2)

So what exactly is this place? Of course it is not just one place(meaning not only one place but can be many) or it's a spiritual realm or something. It's basically just..The moment you're alone and no one is watching you. It is that moment where most of us becomes our own real self and there's no more pretending or acting(both subconsciously and consciously). It's a place where all the skeletons in the closet come to life.

Well, of course if your skeletons are in good shape then it will come out good, but if it's rotten and full of worms then.....there's no need for me to say anything about that..

So what about this place called alone?

Remember the previous post about believing what you believe? Well, we believe that God is everywhere, He's with us no matter what. In our sadness we cry out for Him to be there and even in our joy we thank God. However, don't we realize that God is also with us when we're alone? And do we REALLY BELIEVE that God is everywhere? I realize sometimes we act as if He's not.

Therefore, whenever we are alone, we should always remind ourselves that though no one is there God is still there with us. The reason why I posted this is because I known of friends that are tempted the most when they are alone, to lust, curse, hate, rage.... It includes me too sometimes.. Our goal in our life is to please God, and now we know that He is there even when we're alone.

So, what will happen to this place called "alone"? If we truly want to please God then it includes our place call "alone" too..

Have a good day, God bless.

Oh, and let this place called alone be the secret place or that quiet place where we commune with God and hear from him and really let go everything and express our worship to Him. AMEN.

if you don't understand, in short it means.. live a life for God, and don't just put up a show. When we're alone, God is with us too.. But sometimes we tend to act as if God is not there.. So just a reminder that God is there even when you're alone! TQ! LOL

Man is not Ultimate

Today I had my rocket competition in school. Being the 1st runner up for three years makes complete sense if I win it, besides that my rocket was THE ONE that people look up to.

However..

Long story short, I lost to some unknown guy with an unknown rocket.

Of course I wasn't really happy about it but it reminded me of something. Anything happens with a purpose and who knows maybe if I win I would be proud(which isn't good) and God made me lose in order teach me to be humble? In that I rejoice.

Yet, what strikes me most is that it reminded me that I am not the boss. No matter how promising some things may look like, the big boss who controls all is still God.

So in all that we do let us not boast in our strength but make our boast in God. God is the CREATOR and He's SOVEREIGN after all.

Have a good day. God bless.

Do You Really Believe What You Believe?

haha It's been such a long time I've not blog. Many things happened.

Anyways, this thought had been lingering in my mind for quite a bit these few days.

"DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE WHAT YOU BELIEVE?"

You heard from the news reports and read from the newspapers or learn from school that lightning strikes are dangerous and can be fatal. So, you heard it, and you believe it, and because you believe it, you avoid going swimming or standing in an open area when there's a thunderstorm. IF you do so, you really do believe that lightning strikes are dangerous.

You heard that fuel prices are hiking up by tmr. You believe it. Therefore, you refill your fuel tank before midnight in order to save some money. You really believe what you believe.

You know and believe that fire is capable of burning you. Therefore you stay away from the fire in order to avoid getting burn.

As Christians, we know and believe that:

God is
  • awesome
  • infinite in power
  • infinite in wisdom
  • sovereign over all.
  • holy
  • hates sin
  • King
  • .....

SO, as you can see right before the list, everytime we believe a certain fact, it's follow up with an action. When we believe in something, we tend to do something to act according to it.

hmmm.. Let's go through the list up there about what we believe God is..

It would be nice if we say that we believe it.. but do we really believe what we believe?
It's a question we should ask ourselves..

For example, if we believe He's infinite in wisdom, why sometimes we human don't trust that God knows what's best for us and we still do things our way?

If He's King why do we sometimes approach Him and act as if we're the boss instead?

do we really BELIEVE what we believe??

lets take some time to ponder through this question, of course all of us have failures and it is by God's grace and by Jesus' sacrifice that we are saved. Yet, it is best for us to take sometime to think through these now. SO, If we really believe, lets not just say we believe but lets seek out and really believe in it.

Do You Really Believe What You Believe?

Issue #1

Stressed up during exams? tired and worried?

I decided to write this because many of the youths are having exams these few weeks. Hope that there'll be people who will read it. I hope that all readers will be reminded of how Great is our God and will feel refreshed.

Exams are suppose to do good to us. haha but, I guess there'll always be people that slacks off and get stressed up during exams, it really isn't a good thing to but somehow it's just that person inside of you that is too lazy sometimes. Yea i know that feeling. That causes you to slack off and get tensed up during exams right? lol I admit that i am one of them.

So how do we deal with it?
There's no way that we can turn the clock upside down anymore to go back to the past and study. SO?

So how?

Trusting that God will bring us through and be encouraged that He is always with us till the end. God promised us that He'll never forsake you.

Acknowledge and realize that by ourselves we are nothing. We only have 7 ounces of brain or brain juice or whatever you want to call it, working right now. Besides that, that 7 ounces really is nothing at all compared to God. God wants us to depend on Him in whatever we do. So that in all things, God will get the glory that He deserves.

When we are weak, that's when we are strong. Because it is then God gives us strength to do His will. And God is the everlasting God that gives strength to the weak. Whenever we're feeling tired, He's the one that will sustain us and go before us.

Results really isn't all the important after all. When you die you won't be carrying all your certs with you. But in all things we do it for Him so that through us people can see that God is a great God. I know we always fail in doing this. That's why God said that my grace is sufficient for you.

So just trust God, pray for strength and wisdom, depend on Him, study, believe that He'll be with you now and always and say:

BRING IT ON!

give God all the glory that He deserves.. Amen!

My school went for a choir competition today, we've been preparing for it for weeks.. skipping classes and staying back in school almost every single day.. we are quite well prepared and we were quite confident as well.. we thought things will turn out good.. we thought we can get into the finals.. It wasn't a joke at all when i say we really put our hearts into it.. but it just ended like that.. our journey just ended like that the moment the results are out.. We couldn't get into the finals..

But did the journey really ended there?
No.

Even though we couldn't get into the finals, i was still glad i spend much time and effort on it. Because i am happy to be with them and to spend time with them.

During that period of time when i first join the choir. I thought it will be another rubbish that my friend pulled me into. And i was having a hard time too. Dealing with all my emotions and feelings. I hardly could imagine how things could turn out to be good, especially when I know that I am not a good singer and I am not good at dealing with people to be honest. Lol I was almost ready to blame my friend for wasting my time. But still I hope that God would bring something good out of this.

And indeed God is good.

God had brought me many friends in school. Younger ones that I can reach out to. People that I can reach out. Knowing people that belongs to the Lord yet i never know before. Finding out many things that I never know. Getting closer with my own friends. Taught how to sing properly in choir. So much things happened. And of course got to visit my friends' school for the first time. lol. all in all, it was good. Although we didn't win, but I believe things that were meant to be are meant to be. I believe that God don't simply make things to just happen.

So no matter where you got yourself to.. the journey never ended. There could be sadness, pain, wrong steps, thing that you never wished it happened too. But as long as you are looking heavenward and loving and trusting Him.. You can fully trust God that He will bring you through it all.. All things happened for a purpose.. And God can use it for good.

You just walked passed a street that was filthy in your eyes. But like the bible says, All things are made beautiful in its time. So no matter what you go through..

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Living in a world..

Living in a world
Flowing with it's flow
And wonder is that all they have
And wonder is that all they can offer

Broken hearted people
Each with it's own 70
Beginning a journey of life
That ends when it should be

When my heart has ceased to beat
What will my eyes see?
When I come before the Throne
What will my words be?

So I stop and seek with my heart
To see what's this life all about.
To find who was the one that gave me breathe
To find who was the one that gave me life

And all i found was Jesus
All i see is Jesus
In Him I find..I find..

I find myself
Wrapped in the Love of God
I find myself
Playing in an endless play

I found a Light
That shines through the storm
I found a source
That quenches these thirst of mine

Living in a world
And going against it's flow
For a treasure that's in a field
That's too worthy to be even be compared with the world
Broken hearted people
Each with their pain and suffering
Finding their comfort and joy
Everlastingly in the arms of the Uncreated

But what had God shown to me...
People who do not know the treasure...
People who are missing out so much...
People who do not know that love...

SO what about you?
When your heart has ceased to beat
What will your eyes see?
When you come before the Throne
What will your words be?

A Voice #1

I sincerely believe that all i see and hear has a purpose. I really really do believe that. No matter what i see and hear there's always a voice or emotion that is going on and on in my heart. And i do believe that it isn't just any purpose, it's predestined by God what I will hear see feel do. And i don't want it to just slip by, I want to try my best to make the best of everything i have.

It has been a while, tears had been flowing from my eyes all. As time begin to past, there's so much things that i begin to realise. This earth is full of broken hearted people, and i am one of them. I am really really grateful for having Jesus by my side to help me go through it. I really am. But how self-centered we are sometimes, always thinking about our own hurt and what people had done and why this why that, i admit that i am one of them too.

I want to see a revival in our land, I want people to really really have Jesus as their LORD and Saviour. That Jesus is supreme over all things. I want the people to see how infinitely beautiful God is and His glory that we can never comprehend. I wish that more and more people will feel like that too.

I do not want to keep on dwelling in my problems and sadness anymore, I want to stand beside those who are broken-hearted, hurtful, lonely. I want people to have selfless faith. I truly truly am not perfect in this. But it is my heart's desire to see that happen. I want to tell all those who is holding on the truth and with tears in their eyes that Jesus had never left their side, and Our GOd is a sun and a shield, He bestows honor and glory. No Good thing does He withhold from those who love Him. Most importantly, you are never alone!

From A Puppy..

Few weeks ago, there's this little puppy that was wandering around the condominium that is near my church. The Puppy is really really cute and it's golden brown in colour with "white socks". Some of us being so kind-hearted(or couldn't resist the puppy's charm) took him and put him under the wings of the youth group. We named the puppy Matty in remembrance of a youth intern that came for a year called Matthew McGee.

All of us loves that puppy a lot although some might deny that fact. Matty is just TOOO CUTTEEE! but it is really really a tough job taking care of it, it poops and pees in church and we have to clean it up. Besides that, we need to walk the dog quite frequently too. That's why we even have a "Matty Foundation" as a way to ease the pain of those taking care of Matty. However, I thank God for bringing Matty into our lives. I sincerely believe that there is always a purpose that God let things like that to happen.

I've been walking the dog quite some time, and i can tell you that Matty is one naughty dog. He doesn't follow where you go, he goes to dirty places and the worse is that it actually BITES AND EATS DEAD RAT! It sickens me to see him do that, there was once i got so angry that i pulled so hard that it actually did a somersault in the air. it breaks my heart to see Matty doing things that it shouldn't be doing because i know it isn't good for him. Everytime i drag him away from things that he isn't suppose to touch i know that he won't be happy with me, but everytime i let him go wherever he wants to go he'll end up in trouble. it's just a long long sigghhh..

I really wonder is that how God felt..sometimes.. He created us human beings and we are just like Matty. God knows what is good and bad for us, He is God, He knows it best. we have our own desires. Though God created these desires within us, but often we perverted all these desires. Satan tempts us, yes it is true.. but we are the ones that turn these cannons to the throne God is having and shoot at Him, rejecting God.. We are the ones that keep on rejecting God and eating all the dead rats on the road..

How good it is if we can realize what we are doing sometimes.. How good it is if Matty could understand what i say sometimes.. How good it is that we will follow God all the way and never follow our own lustful desires.. How good it is if Matty just keeps follow me and never runs away to eat rubbish.. God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. ALL things were created by Him and for Him.. God also promised us that all things works for good for those who loves Him and are called according to His purposes.. So don't follow your own desires if we know that it isn't for God's glory. For whether we eat or drink or whatever we do, we must do it for the glory of God.

For me, I would shout to Matty: "MATTY! NO NO NO! COME AND FOLLOW ME.. OBEY ME FOR I KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU.. DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO EAT RUBBISH AND EAT DEAD RATS?? THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS BETTER FOR YOU? I HAVE FOOD FOR YOU AND CLEAN WATER TOO.. COME MATTY.. FOLLOW ME AND LISTEN TO ME.."

SO WHAT WOULD GOD SHOUT TO US? LET US THINK AND REFLECT ON IT OURSELVES...

Lessons from the egg and pan of the day:P

I've been reading Clayton King's blog for the pass few days. He is an evangelist if i am not mistaken and preached to many many many people on earth. I am really impressed sometimes that God can actually use such a young kid and groom him to be such a fine man of God. Anyways, a part of it inspires me to begin to look all around me every moment, and to think what is God trying to tell me through it.. So this morning i prayed that God would show me something. I pray that God would give me the right discernment to put in things i should and give me grace to do His will.

When i reach back home today, after getting settled down. I was asked to prepare my own lunch. Usually i do not fry omelet especially if i am just eating sandwiches. but i guess i just can't help it but to give in to my stomach and my desires. so i heat up this tinny little special frying pan. This frying pan is my favorite pan because it always gives me a perfect egg in a perfect circle shape. lol sounds kiddy but it is true.

So i heat the pan up and put in some oil, break the egg and as i try to put the egg onto the pan, i didn't know that it was too hot that i couldn't help it but to drop the whole egg on to the pan. I was like "OH NO!!" i hate it because i lost my perfect egg in a perfect shape and the yolk burst. I became so dissatisfied with it that as soon as i am done frying it, i decided to fry another one just because i am not satisfied not getting that perfect omelet that i was suppose to get by using this pan.

So i did the same thing again and make sure it wasn't too hot. so i break the egg again and put it into a bowl so i won't drop it. I was so sure that it will come out nicely this time. But guesss what? the pan drop from the stove this time and the whole egg spilled because the pan was too small to stable itself on the stand. I became so angry at that pan that i even just turn off the gas and throw the remaining egg on my plate and just throw the pan into the basin with my chopsticks angrily. Back of my mind thinking that, the frying pan is just so stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid and STUPID!(not a good attitude at all).. although everything should be blamed on me, but i was just very dissatisfied because it failed to fulfill it's purpose.. IT FAILED TO FULFILL IT'S PURPOSE..

And it was then, that I came to my own sense and asked myself. Did i fulfill my purpose here on earth?.. I was at school telling my friend that we should not just think about the "not-to-do list" but also the "to-do list"..now that as i think back..hmm..i wonder is it just my tummy or is it God that made me fry that omelet to make me realise or to remind me of something bigger.. How many times had we fail? How many times had we not fulfill our purpose? We are created for a purpose, and how many times we had failed fulfilling that purpose i wonder.. and most importantly.. How would God feel?

I couldn't help it but to feel broken-hearted because of who i am. Not just that i didn't fulfill my purpose here on earth, to do what God wants me to do. There are so many times where i lost my battles. I couldn't even keep myself from doing things God doesn't want me to do. So many time I do not dare to even lift my eyes to God, because i know that, I am failure, I failed to live a life that fulfills my whole purpose here on earth.

But thank God again and again. For His Grace, His Mercy, and HIS LOVE! HIS LOVE! Being a just God He can't just let sin slip away from His eyes. But YES THANK GOD that Jesus LOVE us so much that He WILLINGLY.. HE WILLINGLY came down to bring us hope. No greater love has there ever been. And through that sacrifice He made, we are made right with God. WE are forGIVEn.. And through Jesus, only am i able to live a life that He wants me to live..

We are created for a purpose, We are ALL created for a PURPOSE. Just as that frying pan was suppose to give me a perfect omelet. Just as the keyboard is suppose to let me type in these words. All things are created by Him and FOR Him. We are all created to fulfill a purpose, and i know that purpose is to glorify God. And we are not making God any bigger than He is when we say we glorify God. Who are we to make God any bigger anyways? We are like a telescope trying to see how big God is though we could never fully comprehend His beauty and majesty and glory. We are all CREATED for a PURPOSE. Let us strive to fulfill it. I thank God for His grace and mercy, I pray that we will all able to live a life that is worth the calling, I know that there will be times that we fall, but let us not stop ourselves from getting up again and again and fighting each of our battles even harder.

Lord Jesus, I just pray that You will forgive us when we fail You,.. Truly truly we thank You Lord, for your great love for us. And your grace and mercy too.. I pray that You will give us strength to do Your will.. I pray that we will start fulfilling our purpose here on earth even more as we grow closer to You.. Lord, Here we are, Made by You and FOR You and You alone.. Thank YOu Lord Jesus, In the name of Jesus that we pray.. AMEN
